Edward Barnes

Edward Barnes is an MA News Journalism student at Cardiff University since September 2021, actively engaged in managing social media as the Social Media Manager for The Indiependent. Prior experience includes serving as an Entertainment Reporter for Dexerto, focusing on TikTok trends and influencer news, and excelling as a Home Delivery Customer Assistant at Morrisons. Edward also held editorial positions at The Gryphon as Editor In Chief and Online Editor for the Views section, alongside freelance writing for The Tab Leeds. Additionally, Edward contributed to Leeds Student Radio as a Radio Show Host and gained fundraising experience with HOME Fundraising Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in News Journalism from Cardiff University and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds.
