Ahmad Al-Junaid has a diverse range of work experience in the energy and industrialization sectors. Ahmad began their career at Schlumberger in 2008, where they worked as a Drilling and Measurements General Field Engineer, overseeing operations for major clients such as Kuwait Oil Co, Brunei Shell, TOTAL, and PETRONAS. Ahmad also served as a Field Service Manager, managing offshore drilling operations for Saudi Aramco. In 2016, they transitioned to TAQA as a New Business Development Advisor, contributing to the company's growth and development. Later on, they took on the role of Well Construction Director before becoming the Director of Strategy & Communications. In this position, they led the development of the company's three-year strategy and managed the corporate communications function. Ahmad Al-Junaid has a strong background in strategy development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
Ahmad Al-Junaid obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) during the period of 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they acquired several certifications including "Leading at the Speed of Trust®" and "The Change Model" from FranklinCovey Middle East, "Elev8 for SPE-KSA" from Fullbridge, and various other certifications related to team development, business execution, and strategic thinking as a manager.
