Karim El Zein

Karim El Zein has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Karim is currently the Executive Director of the Project Management Office at TAQA, a role they assumed in April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Corporate Performance Management in the CEO office at TAQA from December 2020 to April 2023. Before joining TAQA, Karim worked as a Business Controller from December 2019 to December 2020 and as a Senior Corporate Planning & Performance Manager from May 2018 to December 2019. Karim also held the role of Corporate Planning & Performance Manager from January 2017 to May 2018, all at TAQA.

Karim El Zein is also a Board Member at Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. Ltd. since April 2022. Additionally, they have experience working at Sia Partners as a Consulting Manager from August 2015 to January 2017, at Lim & Zein Consulting as a Partner for Operations Improvement from April 2014 to August 2015, and at Renoir Consulting as both a Project Leader from January 2011 to April 2014 and as a Consultant from 2010 to 2011.

Earlier in their career, Karim worked as a Field Engineer - Marine at Consolidated Contractors International Company from 2008 to 2010, and as a Geotechnical Design Engineer at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) in 2007.

Karim El Zein holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from London Business School. Karim also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
