James Hubbard

James Hubbard has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James started their career as a CNC Machine Programmer/Operator at Piedmont Precision Machine in 2016. In 2019, they worked as a Co-op Manufacturing/Technical Preparation Engineer at Volvo Group. Afterwards, they joined Danville Community College as an Additive Manufacturing Instructor in 2020. Currently, they work at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, where they have held multiple positions including ATDM Technical Program Manager, ATDM Asst. Director of Training & Technology, and currently serves as the Director of Training & Technology since February 2023.

James Hubbard attended Danville Community College from 2015 to 2016, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Integrated Machining Technology. James then went on to study at Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
