Dr. Marti Costello

Dr. Marti Costello is a seasoned professional in health education and functional medicine with extensive experience in curriculum development and instructional roles. Currently serving as the Medical Education Curriculum Development Manager at The Institute for Functional Medicine since March 2015, Dr. Costello has previously held positions as an adjunct professor at Georgia Perimeter College and an instructor with Corrective Bodywork Seminars. Other roles include Health & Wellness Coach at UnitedHealthcare and Medical Assisting Program Director at Chattahoochee Technical College. Dr. Costello co-founded the Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health, where education initiatives were a primary focus. Holding a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science from Penn State University, Dr. Costello is also a certified health and wellness coach through multiple programs, including the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.
