Maryam Saleh is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in investigative reporting and editorial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at The Intercept since April 2023, Maryam previously held the position of Investigative Editor at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting, where leadership of multi-platform investigations was key. Maryam has also contributed to The Intercept as a Features Editor, Story Editor, and Associate Editor, and has worked at Medill News Service covering immigration and national security issues. Early career experience includes roles at CAIR Florida as an Immigration Legal Assistant and Legal Intern, and contributions to digital media platforms and public broadcasting. Maryam holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cooley Law School, a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida, along with a B.S. in Media and Communication Technology from Michigan State University.
