Shmuel Polin is an experienced Rabbi and contributing writer with a focus on Jewish education, community engagement, and addressing contemporary issues such as anti-Semitism. Currently serving as Rabbi at Congregation Etz Chaim and as a contributing writer for both the Jerusalem Post and The Times Of Israel, Shmuel Polin has published numerous articles and op-eds on various topics, particularly related to Jewish life in Europe. Shmuel Polin founded the Opening the Ark Project, which aims to enhance Holocaust education, and has gained diverse pastoral and leadership experience through roles at various congregations and institutions, including as a Rabbinic Intern and Student Rabbi. Shmuel Polin holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Hebrew Letters and Rabbinical Ordination from Hebrew Union College.
