Muriithi Ndegwa, PhD, OGW, HSC, FKIM has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Muriithi served as the Executive Director/CEO of The Kenya Institute of Management from January 2017. Prior to that, they held the same position at Macan Marketing Ltd. from March 2016 to December 2016. From October 2009 to February 2016, they served as the Managing Director of Kenya Tourism Board.
Muriithi Ndegwa, PhD, OGW, HSC, FKIM pursued their education at the University of Nairobi. In 1994, they began their studies and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing in 1996. Later on, they continued their academic journey at the same university and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Administration in 2021, specializing in the field of Business Administration.

KIM is a National Institute of Training Association accredited management, business training and certification institute that has 66 years of experience handling complex projects and consultancies. The institute offers demand driven solutions ranging from corporate to short term SMEs trainings with a rich pool of experienced trainers. The Kenya Institute of Management ( KIM) , being a not-for-profit professional membership based organization, carries out advocacy work for its members both individual (numbering over 10000) and corporate (currently above 600) drawn from all over Kenya.
