Rachel McLaughlin, MBA has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 15 years. Rachel started their career as a Fitness Club Associate at The Peabody Hotel Orlando in 2006. Rachel then went on to work as an Intern for the VIP Sales and Seating division of LiveNation, followed by an Event Services Internship at SeaWorld Orlando. Rachel also gained experience as Premium Services Game Night Staff at the Orlando Magic basketball team.

In 2007, Rachel worked as a Credentials Staff member at Kansas Speedway before joining The Event Line as a Marketing Manager for the Kansas City region. Rachel then transitioned to the Kansas City Chiefs football team, where they were part of the Club Level Hospitality Team. Rachel also took on the role of Social Catering Sales Manager at Four Points By Sheraton Kansas City - Sports Complex.

Rachel's career in the hospitality industry advanced further with their roles at the Kessler Collection, starting as a Sales and Catering Coordinator for Doubletree Castle. Rachel then worked their way up to become a Regional Sales Coordinator, before taking on the position of Senior Area Sales Manager. Rachel's responsibilities continued to expand as they became the National Business Transient and Leisure Sales Director, followed by the Corporate Director of Luxury Sales and Analytics. Rachel'slatest role was Corporate Director of Transient Sales & Strategy, where they were responsible for the strategic development and execution of business transient and luxury leisure segments across multiple hotels within the Kessler Collection.

Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated their expertise in building relationships, negotiating contracts, and maximizing revenue in both group and transient sales. Rachel has also gained experience in setting yearly hotel budgets, analyzing pace and STR reports, and participating in luxury trade shows. Rachel has received numerous sales awards for their outstanding performance in the industry.

Rachel McLaughlin earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Louisiana State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Hospitality Management with a specialization in Event Management from the University of Central Florida from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Rachel McLaughlin has also earned a certification as a Consolidated Inventory/Total Yield (CI/TY) Subject Matter Expert from Marriott International.
