Geena Chavez

Nonviolence Education and Training Operations Coordinator at The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center)

Geena Chavez has worked as the Nonviolence Education and Training Operations Coordinator at The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change since September 2020. Geena has also been a Youth Mentor at the Latin American Association since September 2020.

Geena Chavez's education history shows that they completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at The American University of Rome from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from Georgia State University between 2014 and 2017. Geena also pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Journalism at Georgia State University Perimeter College, graduating from 2010 to 2013.
