Jennifer A. Nevins

Jennifer A. Nevins has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jennifer A. started their career as a Communications Intern at the New York State Education Department in 2006. Jennifer A. then worked as a Freelancer for The Star-Ledger from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they served as an Administrative Intern at La Asociación CREAR, where they facilitated a vocational youth program and contributed to the development of a budget and business plan.

Later in 2012, Jennifer joined The State University of New York System Administration, initially as a Graduate Intern for the Smart Scholars program. Jennifer A. collected and analyzed data submitted by Early College High School partners and produced narratives and presentations for Chancellor Nancy L. Throughout the same year, they also worked as a Program Assistant for the UCosmic® Consortium, organizing conferences and stakeholder meetings, managing communications, and updating the consortium's website.

In 2014, Jennifer became an Independent Contractor for The Research Foundation for SUNY, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they gained experience in various roles within the organization. Additionally, they briefly served as a Public Relations Manager at Twill in 2014.

Jennifer's most recent position is Senior Regional Sales Director at The Kitchen Restaurant Group, where they have been since joining in 2019. Prior to this role, they served as an Event Coordinator for the company from 2015 to 2019.

Jennifer A. Nevins has a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Jennifer A. specialized in Policy Processes and Institutions, as well as Global Affairs. Prior to their master's degree, Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism from Ithaca College between 2005 and 2009. In high school, they attended Bethlehem Central High School from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Jennifer participated in a Study Abroad program at the AIP Language Institute in 2008, where they focused on improving their proficiency in Spanish.
