Alison Burstein

Curator at The Kitchen

Alison Burstein is an experienced curator currently serving as Curator at The Kitchen since June 2019, with additional responsibilities in Media and Engagement. Since February 2013, Alison has worked as an Independent Curator, organizing exhibitions and programs in collaboration with prominent institutions such as MoMA, the Museum of Jurassic Technology, and the Luminary. Alison has also contributed to education as a part-time faculty member for the MFA Fine Arts program at Parsons School of Design in early 2022. Previous roles include Program Director at Recess and positions at renowned museums, including the Guggenheim Museum and The Museum of Modern Art. Alison holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.
