Vinisha Umashankar

Vinisha Umashankar serves as the Chief Innovation Officer at Solar Ironing Cart since January 2020, where the focus is on utilizing solar energy to replace traditional charcoal-powered ironing methods prevalent in developing countries, significantly reducing environmental impact. In addition, Vinisha has been accepted into the 2024 Yale Young Global Scholars Program with a full tuition waiver and is participating in The Knowledge Society's Global Virtual Innovation Accelerator Program, also receiving a full scholarship. Currently pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at UWC Mahindra College, Vinisha's previous education includes the All India Senior School Certificate Examination and the All India Secondary School Examination, showing a strong commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
