Eric Cassetta

Eric Cassetta is a seasoned professional in plant breeding and ecology, currently serving as a Phenomic Breeding Technician at The Land Institute since February 2019, where responsibilities include quantifying phenotypes of various species and managing multi-year field trials. Cassetta has previously held roles as a Soil Ecology Technician and Research Resident at The Land Institute, contributing to projects related to soil analysis and plant disease assessment. An earlier internship at The Land Institute provided foundational experience in plant management and data collection. Prior experiences with AmeriCorps involved trail maintenance and ecological restoration, while a role at Arizona State University focused on molecular phylogenetic research.
