Bill Smith

SVP, Patient Services at The Lash Group, Inc.

In his role as Senior Vice President of Patient Services for Lash Group, Bill Smith is responsible for executing the Lash Group strategy for Data Analytics and Product Innovation, to ensure the successful delivery of value-driven products created to serve the needs of clients.

With extensive experience in patient support programs, operations, change management and product innovation, Mr. Smith guides his team in providing oversight and strategy for the design and implementation of new products at all stages of the product lifecycle.

Mr. Smith most recently held the role of SVP, Business Transformation at Lash Group, where he led multiple teams in an enterprise-wide initiative that drove innovation and transformation at the business level to produce solutions aligned with Lash Group client needs. Previous to that role, he held the position of Vice President of Operations at Lash Group, where he was responsible for building internal operating teams, as well as creating and implementing strategic goals designed to expand comprehensive reimbursement and patient support programs.

Mr. Smith’s experience spans many therapeutic areas and includes specialty products prescribed and administered in a wide variety of treatment settings. His focus on quality, process improvements, and data management have led to innovative system solutions to provide strategic program design and operational excellence.

With over eighteen years in the medical billing and health insurance field, Mr. Smith has held previous leadership roles within CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy and two medical supply companies. He has additional experience in Corporate Account Management for a national technology supply company and is Six Sigma Certified.
