Richard Leonardis is an attorney in the Firm’s Property Damage Practice.
Richard specializes in representing property owners and those providing services on behalf of property owners, in first party insurance disputes involving hurricane, fire, water, and mold claims including breach of contract and bad faith lawsuits against insurance companies. Prior to joining Kanner & Pintaluga, Richard practiced in a variety of legal fields including commercial and business litigation, personal injury practice, and property damage insurance.
Richard received his B.A. in International Business along with a Minor in Spanish from Rollins College. He then completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, after graduating on the Dean’s List. While attending NSU Law, Richard was a legal volunteer at the Legal Aid Service of Broward County, the Vice President of the Association of Business Law Students, President of the Transactional Law Practice Group, and Co-Founder of NSU Law’s Entrepreneur Simulator.
