Susan Glancy

Susan Glancy is Vice President of The Lawson Companies and President of Lawson Realty Corporation (the property management subsidiary of The Lawson Companies). She is an industry veteran with 27 years of experience in real estate management. Susan has served in a myriad of roles throughout her career with our firm from site level to corporate positions, including Regional Property Manager, Director of Compliance, and Director of Property Management.

Susan was instrumental in the formation of the company’s compliance department in 2001 and is currently overseeing all property management operations of approximately 5,500 units in Virginia and South Carolina. Susan leads the new business development of Lawson Realty’s managed portfolio and the formation of strategic partnerships for business growth. She directs the Marketing, Maintenance and Compliance teams within the organization. Susan has been involved in lease up and property management of new multifamily construction and acquisitions as well as value add investments.

She is an Old Dominion University graduate and a licensed broker in Virginia. She is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) with the Institute of Real Estate Management. She holds the following affordable housing designations: Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Assisted Housing Manager (AHM) and Rural Housing (S.T.A.R.).
