Alice Meehan is an experienced trial attorney specializing in criminal defense, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice at the Legal Aid Society since February 2014, Alice represents indigent clients charged with felony and misdemeanor offenses throughout all phases of their legal representation. Prior to this role, Alice worked as an attorney at The Bronx Defenders and the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where extensive experience was gained in litigating trials and providing comprehensive representation to clients. Alice began a legal career as an investigator and mitigation specialist with the Defender Association Federal Court Division, contributing significantly to post-conviction appeals for death-sentenced inmates.
