Megan Swahn

Megan Swahn is an experienced nonprofit professional with a focus on business development and fundraising, currently serving as the Business Development Director for the Northeast region at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since April 2013. Megan has held various leadership roles, including Region Development Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region, overseeing operations in Maryland and Washington, D.C., and managing multiple fundraising campaigns with significant financial targets. Previous positions include Senior Chapter Director, where oversight encompassed project activities and marketing strategies across various departments, as well as Campaign Director for events such as Man & Woman of the Year and Light The Night. Prior experience includes roles at The Washington Home & Community Hospices as Donor Relations Manager and event management positions at Southeastern Wildlife Exposition. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management from the College of Charleston.
