Sam Fisk

Sam Fisk has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They began their career as a Crew Member at McDonald's Corporation in 2009. They later interned at Wellcome Trust in 2012, where they worked on the African Institute Initiative. They then joined Liberal Youth in 2011, initially serving as an International Officer before becoming the Co-Chair of the Liberal Democrats Youth & Student wing in 2013. During their time at Liberal Youth, they successfully ran the organization's largest election campaign and achieved a significant increase in member engagement. In 2013, they worked as a Communications & PR Assistant for Virgin Trains East Coast, gaining experience in internal communications, public affairs, media relations, and social media. They then joined Instinctif Partners in 2014 as a Senior Account Executive, specializing in personal finance, fintech, and property sectors. From 2016 to 2019, they held roles at Hitachi Rail, first as an External Communications Executive and later as an External Communications Manager. In 2019, they joined Room to Read, working in Public Relations & Corporate Communications until 2021. Currently, they are employed with the Liberal Democrats as the Communications and Target Seat Strategy Manager, and are also the Deputy Head of Media.

Sam Fisk obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social and Political Sciences from the University of York, graduating in 2014. Prior to that, Sam attended Wootton Upper School, where they completed their A Levels in History, Politics, and Economics.
