Joseph Wen began their education in 2005 at Stony Brook University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Joseph then attended Georgetown University, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Science, specializing in Regional and Comparative Studies: Asia and Africa. In 2010, Joseph obtained a Joint Fires Observer Certification from the US Army Fires Center of Excellence. Joseph has also attended Field Artillery Basic Officer Leader Course and National Taiwan Normal University, although it is unclear whether they completed any degree programs at these institutions.
