Freddie New

Freddie New has over 19 years of work experience. From 2002 to 2007, they were the Campaign Manager at BCRPM/Marbles Reunited, where they were responsible for lobbying, public policy, events organization and management, as well as being the press officer. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as an Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. From 2013 to 2018, they were a Senior Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. From 2018 to 2019, they took a career break to spend time with their children. From 2019 to the present, they have been working as a Corporate Counsel (Consultant) at Curve, and is also a Senior Consultant with Ignition Law (M&A and general corporate work). Currently, they are General Counsel at The Little Car Company.

Freddie New completed their secondary education at St. George's College from 1992 to 1996. Freddie then attended Llandovery College from 1996 to 1998. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Cambridge from 1999 to 2002. Finally, they earned a GDL and LPC in English Law from BPP Law School from 2004 to 2006.
