Richard Sharpe

Non Executive Director at The Little Car Company

Richard Sharpe has held a variety of roles throughout their career. Richard began their professional journey in 1966 as an Engineer at IBM. In 1973, they became Plant Manager at Kerr Group, followed by Technical Sales Engineer at Texas Instruments in 1974. In 1977, they were appointed as Sales Director at Rapid Recall. Richard founded Compass Computer Group in 1980, and then became Owner of Perceptive-OnLine Ltd in 2004. In 1995, they founded altohiway ltd, and in 2000 they became a Committee Member and Co-Founder of ISPA-UK. In 2013, they took on the roles of Director and Co-Founder at amatis Networks. Most recently, in 2019, they became a Non-Executive Director at The Little Car Company, where they are responsible for making electric powered replicas of iconic vehicles in conjunction with the original manufacturers.

Richard Sharpe attended Wisbech Grammar School from 1959 to 1966, and then Brunel University London from 1966 to 1970, where they earned a B Tech in Engineering.
