Kat Schleicher

Kat Schleicher has over 14 years of work experience in the photography industry. Kat started their career in 2007 as a freelance photographer specializing in commercial lifestyle and portrait photography. In 2015, they joined Wonderful Machine as a member of their Creative Roster. Kat also became a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) in the same year. In 2019, they became a founding member of The Luupe. Currently, they work as a Continuing Education Instructor at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and is also part of the Creative Roster at Found Artists. Additionally, they have experience in the field of education, serving as an Adjunct Professor at Marquette University from 2008 to 2010, and as a University Photographer and Media Specialist from 2005 to 2007. Prior to their photography career, they worked as an Assistant Language Teacher at Sister Cities International from 2002 to 2004.

Kat Schleicher has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Arts with a focus on Photography and Visual Communication Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
