Jervean Gates

JerVean Gates has extensive experience in law enforcement and security, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an Off Duty Police Officer at both Majestic Star Casino since April 2016 and Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus since November 2004, JerVean also holds the position of Detective/Sergeant at Gary Police Department since September 1996, focusing on the General Crimes Division. Prior to this, JerVean worked as a Security Guard at ISM from August 1993 to September 1996 and served as Assistant Manager at Three Sisters from December 1987 to May 1993. JerVean is pursuing further education at Ivy Tech Community College, having completed academic studies at Westside Senior High School in 1985.
