Manoj K Garga has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles across various industries. Manoj K started their career as a Joint General Manager Finance at Essar World Trade Ltd in 1994. Manoj K then worked as VP & Chief Financial Officer at ITC Agrotech Ltd from 1995 to 2001. During this period, the company was restructured and later sold to ConAgra, USA and Tiger Oats. Manoj then joined Metro Cash & Carry India in 2001 as Finance & Administration Director/CFO. Manoj K worked there until 2006 when they became Finance & Administration Director / Chief Financial Officer at Makro Cash & Carry C R s.r.o., responsible for Euro 1.7 billion sales across 17 locations in Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2009, Manoj joined Metro Cash & Carry International as Finance & Administration Director/CFO for the Central Program Office of the Shape 2012 program. Manoj K later became the CEO of MKG Consumer Business ventures, a consulting organization supporting retail businesses in India. In 2011, they worked as a Partner/Executive Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers India. In 2013, they became the Group Chief Financial Officer at Kout Food Group, responsible for finance, IT, commercial & trading/ sales & distribution operations. Finally, in 2014, they joined The Manipal Group as Director & Global Group CFO, overseeing multiple businesses including home fragrance, print & print solutions, media, advertisement, and even management.
Manoj K Garga attended Loyola High School from 1966 to 1975, where they earned a Secondary School Certificate. Manoj K then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Lala Lajpatrai Institute Of Management from 1978 to 1981. In 1981, Manoj went on to enroll at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they completed their studies and obtained the title of Chartered Accountant in 1986. Their field of study throughout their education history primarily focused on accounting and management.
