Jeff Deakins

Jeff Deakins has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jeff most recently worked at Marmon Holdings, Inc. as the CISO (Director of Information Security and Infrastructure) starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they were the Co-founder and Investor at Options Open from April 2020 to March 2022. Jeff also worked as a Principal Information Technology Consultant at Wayfind Consulting from January 2018 to June 2020. Jeff held the position of CISO/CIO (Vice President of Operations) at Care Capital Properties from August 2015 to January 2018. Before that, they were the Director of Business Process Management at Ventas, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. Jeff's earlier experience includes various roles at GE Capital from 2003 to 2013, including Quality Leader, Senior Sales Leader, Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Jeff Deakins has a strong educational background and a number of certifications that support their expertise in the field. Jeff obtained their Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Northwestern University in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their MBA at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2007. Jeff's undergraduate degree is a BBA in Finance, which they earned from Western Michigan University in 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Jeff has obtained several certifications. Jeff became a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) through ISACA in August 2022, and they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in June 2022. Jeff'sother certifications include the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in December 2010, and the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Six Sigma Black Belt certifications from GE Capital, acquired in May 2006 and November 2004, respectively.
