Joaquin Hernandez-Rico

Joaquin Hernandez-Rico has extensive experience in information technology, with a focus on leadership roles. Joaquin is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology - Transportation Products at Marmon Holdings, Inc., where they oversee the IT functions for transportation product companies. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of IT at Carl Buddig and Company and Hometown Food Company, where they managed all IT functions. Joaquin also held the position of Director of IT, North America at Gerflor USA, where they played a key role in integrating multiple companies and preparing for future growth. Joaquin has also worked in various IT roles at NextLevel Health Partners, Oerlikon Balzers, TMSi, APX Logistics, RR Donnelley Logistics, and CTC Direct, Inc. Joaquin's experience includes managing IT strategy, network operations, business applications, help desk support, and IT project management. Joaquin has a strong track record of driving technical solutions and leading IT teams to support business objectives.

Joaquin Hernandez-Rico's education history begins with their completion of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in IT and Mathematics from Ottawa University. Joaquin attended Ottawa University from an unknown start year until an unknown end year.

Following this, Joaquin pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey during the academic year of 1994 to 1995.

In 2000, Joaquin returned to Ottawa University and obtained a BA degree in Dual Major in IT and Mathematics. Joaquin studied at Ottawa University from 2000 to 2003.

In 2019, Joaquin began studying at Western Governors University, where they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance in 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Joaquin earned a Master Project Manager certification from the American Academy of Project Management in November 2011.
