Audrey Vargason

Audrey Vargason is the current Operations Manager at The Maryland Theatre. Audrey has over ten years of experience in sales and event coordination. Prior to their current position, they were the Director of Sales at the Hagerstown Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau for five years. Audrey has also worked as a Member Services Coordinator and an Office Assistant. In 2012, they completed an internship with ParaMount’s Artifact & Exhibit Specialists. Audrey has a passion for the arts and is dedicated to their work at The Maryland Theatre.

Audrey Vargason has a graduate certificate in non-profit/public/organizational management from Hood College. Audrey also has a bachelor's degree in history & global studies from Hood College. In addition, they have certification from Coursera in optimizing a website for search, search engine optimization fundamentals, and introduction to search engine optimization. Audrey also has certification from Journey Through Hallowed Ground in certified tourism ambassador and from Fire Marshal Support Services in crowd manager certified. Finally, they have certification from Tips Alcohol in TIPS certified.
