Esther Awovi Akafia

Esther Awovi Akafia is currently a Fellow at McCain Institute, with a strong background in education and finance. Esther is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pioneers International Academy, and has held various leadership roles in microfinance institutions such as FINCA Microfinance Bank Limited. With a legal background and extensive experience in corporate affairs and communications, Esther has a passion for providing quality education and financial services in Africa. Esther holds a MBA from Colorado State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education & Social Change at Bellarmine University.
