Barbara Johnson

Barbara Johnson has several years of experience in the healthcare industry, focusing on providing palliative care and support for patients. Barbara started their career in 1992 as the Director of Social Work and Admissions at Beechwood Continuing Care and worked there until 1999. Barbara then worked as a Social Worker at the Amherst Senior Center from 1999 to 2004. Barbara then became a Case Manager at Toby Laping and Associates from 2004 to 2006, and a Social Worker at Elderwood from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Medical Social Worker at Hospice Buffalo. Currently, Barbara is working as the Director of the Journeys Palliative Care Program at The McGuire Group Health Care Facilities, a role they have held since 2012.
