Derek Medeiros has extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving as a Documentation Specialist and Project Manager at The Mechanical Licensing Collective since August 2020. Prior to this, Derek held various roles at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) from May 2013 to August 2020, including Industry Research Specialist, Digital Market Development Specialist, Digital Support Specialist, and Account Executive, contributing to significant revenue growth and effective cross-departmental collaboration. Before BMI, Derek gained experience as an intern at Warner Elektra Atlantic Corp. and Brite Revolution, and worked in various customer service roles at Marriott International and other organizations. Derek holds a BBA in Music Business Production with a minor in Music from Belmont University.
