Valerie Lovely is an accomplished music attorney and educator with extensive experience in the music industry. As the Founder of Music Law Firm, Valerie provides tailored legal and business assistance to a diverse range of clients, including bands, artists, and record labels, since January 2005. Valerie serves as an Associate Professor of Music Business Management at Berklee College of Music, teaching various courses on legal aspects of the music industry and contract negotiations since May 2009. Additionally, Valerie contributes to BerkleeOnline as a Faculty and Course Author and holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, offering specialized courses in music law. Currently, Valerie also volunteers as an MLC Educator Ambassador for The Mechanical Licensing Collective, facilitating educational events. Valerie earned a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music.
