Position Details:

The Benefits Coordinator at MedElite is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s employee benefits programs. This includes health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks. The Benefits Manager will ensure that all programs align with company objectives, promote employee well-being, and comply with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in benefits administration, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the healthcare industry's unique benefits needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Design Benefits Programs: Develop and oversee benefits plans that cater to the diverse needs of MedElite employees, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
  • Administration and Compliance: Manage the administration of benefits programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate records and fulfill reporting requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure the provision of high-quality services.
  • Employee Communication and Education: Create and execute communication strategies to inform employees about benefit programs. Conduct informational sessions and produce materials to help employees understand and utilize their benefits effectively.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze benefits data to assess program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities. Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status and performance of benefits programs.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee the benefits budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the quality of benefits offered.
  • Policy Development: Develop and update benefits policies and procedures. Ensure all documentation is current and accessible to employees.
  • Employee Support: Provide support and guidance to employees on benefits-related issues. Address and resolve any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Benchmarking and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and benchmark MedElite benefits against those of competitors. Recommend enhancements based on market analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits programs and relevant laws (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, ACA)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CEBS, SHRM-CP/SCP) is preferred

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per annum
