Dr. Eric Hill has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency medicine. Eric is currently serving as the Medical Director at Aurora Fire Rescue and Falck Rocky Mountain. Previously, they worked as the EMS Medical Director and Chair of Emergency Medicine at The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza. Dr. Hill also served as a Medical Officer at CO-2 DMAT, National Disaster Medical System. In addition, they held the position of Medical Director for several fire/EMS agencies in the Denver Metro Area. Prior to these roles, Dr. Hill worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at CarePoint, P.C. and Carthage Area Hospital. Eric also had teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at Georgia Health Sciences University. Dr. Hill's early career involved serving in the US Army as a Major, where they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Brigade Surgeon. Eric has extensive experience in patient care, teaching, and supervising medical personnel, particularly in combat and emergency situations.
Dr. Eric Hill earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology (EPOB) from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Kinesiology from the same university in 1999. Eric completed their secondary education at Fairview High School from 1992 to 1996.
