Andrea Marcou has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Andrea began their career as a Secretary to the High Claims Assessor at Medical Protection Society in 1996. Andrea then moved on to become a PA to the Head of Claims in 1997, and later served as a PA to the Chief Executive from 2000 to 2002. During their time at the company, they held the position of Office Services Manager from 2002 to 2012, and subsequently became a Buildings Manager from 2012 to 2015. Currently, they hold the role of Facilities Manager at Medical Protection Society.

Prior to their time at Medical Protection Society, Andrea worked as a Legal PA at M J Harvey & Co Solicitors from an unspecified start date until 1995.

Andrea Marcou BA (Hons), MIWFM, Tech IOSH completed a BA (Hons) degree in Photography, Film & TV from the London College of Printing. In addition, Andrea has obtained several certifications in the field of occupational health and safety. This includes a NEBOSH - NCC2 Construction Health and Safety Practical Application certification from NEBOSH in November 2015, a NEBOSH _ NCC1 Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction certification from NEBOSH in October 2015, a NEBOSH NGC1 Management of Health and Safety certification from NEBOSH in January 2014, a NEBOSH NGC2 - Controlling Workplace Hazards certification from NEBOSH in January 2014, and a NEBOSH NGC3 - Health and Safety Practical Application certification from NEBOSH in January 2014. Additionally, Andrea has obtained the Tech IOSH certification from the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health.
