James Zhou

James Zhou has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. James is currently the SVP of Technical Operations & Security at The Meet Group since May 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Operations at the same company starting in June 2015. Before joining The Meet Group, James worked at News Corp as the Enterprise Cloud Lead for the North America Region from August 2013 to June 2014. James also worked at Dow Jones, where they held multiple roles including Manager of Enterprise Cloud, Storage, and Performance Engineering from January 2013 to June 2014, Manager of Systems & Network Management from December 2010 to January 2013, and Global Network Availability Assurance Manager from an unspecified period in 2010 to March 2011. Additionally, James served as the Director of Technical Operations at Fox Digital Media from January 2009 to October 2010, IT Director of Operations and Infrastructure at Beliefnet, Inc. from February 2006 to December 2008, OS Administrator at Bose from January 2005 to February 2006, System Administrator & Release Engineer at Novell from March 2003 to November 2004, and Unix System Administrator at Raytheon from June 2001 to December 2002.

James Zhou completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Operations and Information Technology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2002 to 2006.
