Ryan Coombes

Ryan Coombes brings over 15 years’ legal experience working in the mining industry having worked in multiple jurisdictions including in North America, Latin America, West Africa, Australia, Russia, Greece and Turkey. Ryan began his legal career at McCarthy Tétrault and subsequently took on leadership roles of increasing responsibility with Kinross Gold, BHP, and Eldorado Gold. Along with a general focus on corporate and commercial law, Mr. Coombes has a keen natural resources interest and has been involved in all phases of major project development including: exploration, environmental permitting, project finance and construction, mine operations and reclamation. Mr. Coombes holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Master of Arts from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan.
