As senior associate director of technical project management, Sue Bourque leads the technical implementation and design of fundraising campaigns and web initiatives across the Foundation's website.
Drawing from her previous experience as a front-end web developer, Sue serves a technical liaison between internal and external stakeholders to create engaging, user centered experiences for donors, fundraisers, researchers and members of the wider Parkinson's community. Additionally, she identifies and evaluates various web solutions to expand and optimize the Foundation's ability to raise funds for Parkinson's research.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2013, Sue worked as a graphic designer and social media specialist for a boutique marketing agency and later as digital media coordinator for an independent record label. She also served as an AmeriCorps member teaching the craft of digital storytelling to underserved youth in New Mexico.
Sue graduated from St. Michael's College with a B.A. in Media Studies, Journalism & Digital Arts and Spanish. She has a Certificate in User Experience from the Nielsen Norman Group.
