Chris King

Chris King has over 30 years of work experience, with a focus on healthcare and patient safety. Chris currently serves as the Director of Quality and Risk Management at Defense Health Agency. Prior to this, they worked at Synensys as a Patient Safety Specialist, where they managed the operation of the Military Health System PSP and promoted a culture of safety. Chris also has a strong background in the United States Air Force, where they held various roles such as Flight Medicine/Public Health Manager and Aerospace Medical Specialist. Chris retired from the USAF as a Superintendent. Furthermore, they have a certification as a Nationally Certified Public Manager and has experience in professional management at the Community College of the Air Force.

Chris King earned an MA in Human Resource Management with a specialization in Organizational Development and Change Management from National University between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Texas State University from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they completed an Associates degree in Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force from 1998 to 2004.
