David Alvarado is the Manager of Public Relations and Communications at The Mission Continues. David has over three years of experience in web and media specialist roles, where they were responsible for coordinating with executive leadership to plan and execute communication strategies, maintaining and tracking the performance of social media channels, administering websites, producing communications materials, and providing training workshops on topics of public relations and social media best practices.

David is a creative and innovative thinker who is always exploring new ways to engage with audiences. David is passionate about education and believes that every student deserves access to quality information and resources. David is committed to their work and strives to produce high-quality results that make a positive impact on the lives of others.

David Alvarado completed a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from The University of Texas-Pan American. David then went on to complete a High School Diploma from Mercedes High School. After that, they completed a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Innovation from Texas Tech University. Lastly, they received Certifications from the CITI Program in Social and Behavioral Responsible Scholarship Course and TTU Human Subject Research - Elective Material.
