Dr. Brandy L. Ethridge, Ph.D., M.P.Adm. has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and organizations. Starting in 2019, they took a career pause with The Mom Project to focus on their children's growth and development. During this time, they also demonstrated adaptability by pivoting to pandemic co-parenting in isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

From 2011 to 2020, Dr. Ethridge served as a Minority Evaluator Program (MEP) Member - Participant/Volunteer for the City of Portland, Procurement Services.

In 2018, they worked as the Chief of Staff for House District 52 in the Oregon Legislative Assembly. Dr. Brandy L. also founded and served as the CEO of Effective Strategies, LLC during the same year.

Before that, Dr. Ethridge gained valuable experience at UC Santa Barbara, Department of Education. Dr. Brandy L. worked as a Qualitative Researcher, Research Assistant/Apprentice, and Graduate Administrative Assistant from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Brandy L. also served as an Instructor/Teaching Associate and played a key role in developing and teaching a practicum course for undergraduates.

Prior to their time at UC Santa Barbara, they worked as a Program Evaluator/Graduate Student Assistant for Project Excel of Santa Barbara in 2007 and as an Independent Consultant for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic in 2006.

Dr. Brandy L. Ethridge, Ph.D., M.P.Adm. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University. Dr. Brandy L. also earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.Adm.) degree with a focus on Public Administration and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University. Additionally, Dr. Ethridge holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from UC Santa Barbara. Dr. Brandy L. has a range of additional certifications, including a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera and various certifications in project management, data analysis, software development, and programming from LinkedIn.
