Clint Freeland

Clint Freeland is currently the SVP & CFO at The Mosaic Company. Prior to this, they served as Chief Financial Officer at Dynegy from July 2011 to April 2018. Clint was part of an executive team that was recruited to lead Dynegy through a significant restructuring. Over the following five years, they played a key role in tripling the size of the company through four large acquisitions while maintaining an industry-leading cost structure.

From July 2004 to September 2011, Freeland served as SVP, Strategy & Financial Structure at NRG Energy. In this role, they led strategic initiatives, including NRG’s development of new business platforms through partnerships with third parties.

Freeland began their career at Enron Corp in January 1999, where they served as Director, Enron Global Finance until December 2004.

Clint Freeland has an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management and a BA in Political Science from The University of the South.
