Dean Gerhardt

Dean Gerhardt has extensive experience in mine engineering and geotechnical support, currently serving as the Mine Engineering Superintendent at The Mosaic Company since April 2011, leading the engineering team at Colonsay Operations. Previous roles at Mosaic include Geotechnical Lead and Senior Geologist, where responsibilities involved providing technical support for potash operations across North America and internationally. Dean's career began with roles at International Minerals & Chemical Corporation and Dynatec Mining Corp, where foundational skills in rock mechanics, geological evaluation, and mine operations were developed. Dean holds a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan and a professional certificate in AutoCAD from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology.
