Tashara May

Tashara May is a dedicated performing arts professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, Film, and Television from the University of Colorado Denver. Since June 2016, Tashara has served as a Board Member for the Casa Milagro Foundation, focusing on preventive initiatives against teen violence, bullying, and sexual assault through interactive forum theatre. Tashara has been a Professional Actor with The Murder Mystery Company since December 2016 and teaches acting for stage and film at the Step it Up Performing Arts Dance Company. Additional roles include serving as a Role Player with C-WORX and a Standardized Patient at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Tashara has also contributed to youth programs, touring schools to promote awareness on teen violence as an actress with Casa Milagro Youth Solutions and conducting classes for toddlers at Denver Parks and Recreation. Previous theatrical performances include appearances in productions with Ignite Theatre and Expositions Theatrical Company.
