Tim Nicholls

Assistant Director Of Policy, Research & Strategy at The National Autistic Society

Tim Nicholls serves as the Assistant Director of Policy, Research & Strategy at The National Autistic Society since October 2014, leading a team of approximately 40 individuals focused on public policy and organizational strategy for autistic individuals. Throughout an extensive career at the National Autistic Society, Tim has held several roles, including Head of Influencing & Research and Head of Policy and Public Affairs, where responsibilities included policy development, lobbying, and strategic regional engagement. Tim has also contributed to public affairs in various organizations, including as a Councillor for the London Borough of Islington and as an Assistant Public Affairs Officer at Macmillan Cancer Support. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Exeter, a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, and completion of the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. Tim is currently a Fellow at The RSA and a member of the NHS Assembly.
