Managing Director, Policy And Advocacy at National Endowment for Financial Education

Raven Newberry serves as the Managing Director of Policy and Advocacy at the National Endowment for Financial Education since June 2014, leading efforts to expand financial education access in K-12 schools through active policymaker engagement. Prior roles include Director of Policy and Advocacy, Senior Manager of Insights, Manager of Programs, and Associate at CashCourse within the same organization. Raven's earlier experience includes research at Vanderbilt University on state learning disabilities under a federal grant, a fellowship with the Southern Education Foundation conducting needs assessments for Title I schools, and a role as a College Success Coach at College Possible. Raven holds a Master's of Public Policy in Education from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Kentucky.
