Alan C. Roberts

President at The National Food Lab: Innovation for the Food & Beverage Industry

Alan C. Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Alan C. started their career at National Starch and Chemical in 1997, where they served as CFO for the Electronic Materials division until 2008. Alan C. then joined Ablestik Laboratories as a Commercial Director before moving on to become the CFO at National Starch Electronic Materials. In 2008, they joined Henkel of America as the CFO of Electronic Materials. Alan C. also had a brief stint as a Partner at The Roberts Group. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Covance Laboratories. Alan C. then became the Executive Director of Finance at Covance until 2018. In the same year, they took on the position of Vice President of Product Design at Covance Food Solutions. Currently, they are serving as the President of The National Food Lab, Inc. (The NFL).

Alan C. Roberts completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, attending from 1985 to 1989. Alan C. later pursued further education by obtaining an MBA from Lehigh University College of Business, specializing in Finance and Valuation, during the academic year 1994-1995.
