Director of Information Technology Manuel Cabrera

Manuel Cabrera has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Manuel'smost recent role was as the Director of Information Technology at The National Hotel Miami Beach, where they oversaw technical projects, upgraded networking hardware, and promoted a culture of robust documentation. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Administrator for various companies, including Hilton Cabana, Clevelander, and Bonaventure, where they handled IP networking, server administration, and system maintenance. Manuel also worked as an Information Tech Specialist at MED-TEK, where they performed quality assurance and managed hardware/software installations. In addition, they held various roles at Foundation Health Services Jackson International/UM International, including Finance Associate, IOS Project Manager, and Unofficial IT Engineer, where they monitored accounts, led a data capture software project, and provided IT support. Manuel started their career at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where they worked as a Finance Associate, performed surgical scheduling and reservations, trained staff on new registration systems, and coordinated bed placement throughout the hospital.

Manuel Cabrera, Director of Information Technology, attended several educational institutions throughout their career. From 2013 to 2016, Manuel studied at ITT Technical Institute-Miami, where they pursued a degree in Network Systems Administration with a focus on Information Technology. Prior to that, Manuel attended The Art Institutes from 2010, specializing in Web Design & Interactive Media, with an emphasis on Graphic Design. In 1999, Manuel graduated from Southwest Miami Senior High. Later, in 2003, they enrolled in Miami Dade College, majoring in Graphic Arts.
