Martin Braathen is a distinguished Senior Curator at Nasjonalmuseet for kunst, arkitektur og design, with extensive experience in the fields of architecture and art. Notably, Martin served as a Board Member for both NORSK KURATORFORENING and FORBUNDET FRIE FOTOGRAFER, and held the position of Acting Director for Oslo Architecture Triennale. Additionally, Martin has a strong background in architecture criticism and curation, having worked as a self-employed architecture critic and curator from 2004 to 2019 and as Editor in Chief for Arkitektnytt. Martin’s academic credentials include a PhD in Architecture History from NTNU, and participation in prestigious educational programs such as the Whitney Independent Study Program and studies at Universität der Künste Berlin and University of Oslo.
